The Tent Party

For my wife’s 40th birthday we decided to throw a really big party. So big that all the invitees wouldn’t be able to fit in our house if it rained, so we rented one of those big white tents just in case. That night, candles made the tent glow a creamy yellow and a crazy jambalaya of friends and relatives laughed and danced and mixed together till the small hours. I can see it all perfectly when I look at this painting.
