This painting is called, Snakes 'n Ladders. It's a more minimalist effort than what I've been doing lately; a change of gears that helps keep the work fresh and focused. Simple marks using charcoal as a base layer were followed by acrylic and house paint for the more prominent shapes and colours. It has a 'modern' look but feels surprisingly at home in any decor. You'd do well to give it some thought. ($1300.00 framed in poplar painted black.)
